Playfully divided into three sections for everyone from toddlers to older children, there are areas to climb, poles to slide down, an assortment of swingy things, with walkways in between. Designed to be fun for all ages and abilities. Even the most active kids will be entertained for hours.
The large lawn is the ideal spot to lay a picnic rug. Or if you’d prefer to sit at a table, there are also barbecue facilities nearby. With everything you need including a cold water tap and public toilets, you could make a day of it and really take in these surrounds.
After a bite to eat, why not enjoy a walk? The duck pond is a favourite, attracting flocks of feathered wildlife. Wander by the wetlands or admire the more formal ornamental garden. Either way there’ll always be something new to see each time you visit.
Dogs are welcome but, as this is a birdlife haven, please keep them on leash and remember to clean up after.
