Typically, the school run means navigating traffic and busy roads, but at our Kimberley community, it’s more of a school walk. With three schools and childcare facilities within walking distance – including the brand-new Salesian College campus – getting to class has never been easier. The impressive 7-hectare Salesian College will be a standout feature of Kimberley, perched on the escarpment overlooking Jacksons Creek and right next to the residents’ club.
Designed specifically for years 11 and 12, it will accommodate 1,000 students and serve as an extension of the existing Rupertswood Mansion campus, which currently hosts 1,500 students. Blending modern architecture with a university-style layout, the new campus is designed to help students transition seamlessly from high school to further education.
It will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including a chapel, general learning spaces, a central meeting hub known as the Campus Heart, a trade centre, a multi-purpose hall, dedicated art and science wings, a performing arts centre, and innovative outdoor learning spaces.
